Emmerdale fans blast 'pathetic' Andrea over bizarre love plan for Jamie

Emmerdale fans blasted Andrea Tate for being "pathetic" after she revealed she was planning to get Jamie to fall in love with her again.

Tonight, it seemed as though Andrea was finally forming a backbone as she carried out her revenge plan against Jamie and Belle.

Despite finding out that her husband has been having an affair with Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper), Andrea (Anna Nightingale) has kept it to herself and hasn't confronted Jamie about it.

Leyla, who Andrea has confided in about Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) and Belle's affair, helped her out as she collected everyone's phones for the pub quiz.

Belle and Jamie's secret texts are exposed to the village (ITV)

However, Leyla secretly pocketed Belle's phone and a USB stick.

The quizzers were then all left gobsmacked when the quiz screen showed screenshots of texts between Belle and Jamie.

Andrea feigned ignorance about the affair and pretended that this was the first time she had heard about it.

She fled in disgust and Jamie turned on Belle, blaming her for outing their relationship publicly.

But Andrea left viewers stunned when Andrea declared that she would get her husband to fall in love with her again.

One tweeted: "andrea doing all THAT to take jamie back? have some self respect! #Emmerdale."

While another commented: "'I can make him fall in love with me again' Really DOESN'T work like that actually Andrea. Why the hell would she even want Jamie back after what he's done? Surely she should have a helluva lot more respect for herself? #Emmerdale."

A third wrote: "#emmerdale Andrea needs to get some self respect, Jamie is a prick."

Another commented: "Andrea you are a Queen, do not act that desperate for Jamie! #Emmerdale."

*Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV
