Emmerdale's dad-to-be Nate caused controversy after he fainted on last night's show as partner Tracy brutally pranked him.
The cruel prank saw the squeamish character collapse to the floor as his partner Tracy pretended she'd cut her finger.
Nate has been attempting to get over his fear of blood and gore ahead of the birth of his first child.
Tracy accused her partner of using his fear as an excuse so he didn't have to be at the birth, she decided to put his fear to the test in a brutal practical joke.

The mother-to-be dabbed a tea towel onto some tomato sauce she was cooking and pretended she'd cut her finger, the brutal prank saw Nate collapse onto the floor.
ITV viewers were left stunned at how quickly the character came following the dramatically incident and accused Jurell Carter of 'bad acting', The Daily Star reports.
One tweeted: "Was Nate joking as well he came round faster than he went down ffs".
While another penned: "I'm sorry but no one wakes up that quick from fainting at the sight of blood!"

After Nate passed out, a panicked Tracy said: "Oh, I'm so sorry no! It's not real I just wanted to check you weren't exaggerating. Nate?"
