Emmerdale fans want Aaron Dingle recast after Danny Miller quits for I'm A Celeb

Emmerdale fans are hoping Aaron Dingle will return after Danny Miller left the show for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The soap actor is currently trying his luck out in the chilly Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

He played Aaron on the long-running soap for the last 13 years and said goodbye to the village this week.

Fans of the character were heartbroken over his departure and took to social media to share their woes.

Many wanted him back on screen as soon as possible.

"Please recast Aaron! He's my favourite character on the soap," a user asked ITV on Twitter.

Another said: "How soon before he is recast? Viewers are gonna hate the replacement if he shows up in the village next week or next year. But the sooner the better."

"When you do come back to Emmerdale (please god) wouldn't it be marvellous if you had Robert in tow," one added. "Good luck love."

One upset user said: "Crying. Goodbye Aaron Dingle. Good luck With future adventures Danny and hopefully we will see Aaron back in the future."

Meanwhile, most wished Danny good luck with his future projects.

Many of the comments were made under a video of himself crying in the car after he filmed his final scenes.

The 30-year-old soap star had revealed that his time was up as Aaron before he embarked on his adventure at Gwrych Castle.

While he's been away in Wales, Danny's adoring fiancée Steph Jones has been running his Instagram page so his fans can keep up to date on his trials and tribulations in the I'm A Celeb campsite.

Appearing in the video, Danny instantly burst into tears when he announced the end of his time on the Emmerdale set.

The emotional star said: "So guys, that's a wrap for Aaron, a wrap on Danny.

"Bear with me," he added before he burst into tears.

"This cast and crew have been amazing for me. I’ve learnt so, so much here. I’ve made so many lifelong friends. I already miss them."

And opening up on why he decided to end his time on the soap, Danny admitted that he wanted to prioritise his family life after he and his fiancée Steph welcomed their baby son, Albert, back in October.
