Emmerdale fans were left utterly confused this evening by a rather unusual flashback involving Mandy Dingle, a casino and a very Oceans Eleven-esque scam.
Vinnie and Mandy were caught after trying to make away with Lydia's cash and were forced to face the 'Dingle court' and explain what they'd done and why.
Mandy, played by Lisa Riley, then launched into an elaborate tale about scamming the casino, with Vinnie counting cards to win cash.
Eventually, they were caught out and the head of the casino is after them, and Mandy revealed that they needed to pay the money back.
Fans flocked to Twitter in confusion over the surreal scenes.
One tweeted: "What the funk was that all about? #Emmerdale."
While another commented: "What. Is. This. #Emmerdale."
A third remarked: "This is a weird flashback #Emmerdale."
"Howling around this storyline with Mandy #Emmerdale," another wrote.
One remarked: "The flashback looks like a spoof #Emmerdale."
If that wasn't odd enough, Vinnie revealed that he wasn't actually Mandy's son.
A fan joked: "Cain's son?"
