Emmerdale fans are convinced they know what is about to happen for Victoria Sugden on the popular ITV soap.

It seems there could be a potential romance on the cards for Victoria and newcomer Luke as they keep bumping into each other in the hospital.

But viewers are sure Emmerdale is about to take a more sinister turn.

Fans took to Twitter to point out how convinced they are that the person Victoria keeps bumping into at the hospital must have something to do with her rapist Lee.

One user shared: "That guy is definitely connected to Lee."

While another one wrote: "Friend of Lee's I presume?"

Another viewer seemed to question Luke's timely arrival as they tweeted: "Why do I think this lad at the hospital is linked to Lee?"

In May, Victoria was attacked by rapist Lee Posner (played by Kris Mochrie) and fell pregnant with his baby as a result.

Soon after, Lee began terrorising her in the fallout while claiming she made up the attack.

Victoria's brother Robert soon got revenge against the rapist as he hospitalised Lee during a fight.

Viewers were shocked as tonight's episode showed Victoria slowly opening up to new guy Luke as they exchanged numbers and went for a walk in the park together, after bumping into each other at the hospital.

Fans speculated the future of their relationship before Victoria rushed back to the hospital ahead of Lee's death.

Later in the episode, a petrified Victoria told her brother that rapist Lee died in hospital from the injuries sustained in Robert's brutal attack.

Panic soon sets in as Robert realised he could now be charged with Lee's murder. Liv suggested that he should go on the run with her brother Aaron.

Robert and Aaron realise it is their only chance of being together and decide they must leave the village immediately.
