Emmerdale fans all asked the same question about Al's interest in the Woolpack as he shared his development plans.
Earlier this week, Paddy tried to convince Marlon and Chas to accept Al's offer to buy into the pub.
They eventually accepted on selling a share of the pub, after Al blackmailed him.

Al previously caught Paddy doping one of Kim's racehorses.
He then threatened Paddy, saying he would keep quiet if he could persuade Marlon to sell his share of the pub to him.
Tonight, Al explained his ideas for the Woolpack.
He informed Chas of his plans to turn it into a gastropub and boutique hotel.
Al then presented a proposal to Chas and drafted up a financial plan.
But fans questioned where Al's business acumen suddenly came from - given his lack of success with Kim Tate.
Michelle tweeted: "Since when did Wooden Al become such a business guru? #emmerdale."
A second wrote: "Al really doesn't understand the whole issue around pubs going under, does he! Such a weird storyline..."
Ryan wrote: "Since when is Al so clued up on all this stuff? He definitely buying the pub for Joe Tate I'm telling you if not him then Jamie."
