Emmerdale fans accuse Brenda of 'robbing' customers in cafe

Emmerdale viewers were quick to speak out over Brenda's Easter treats on offer at the cafe tonight.

Thursday's episode saw Brenda in the cafe, alongside new mum Tracy and Faith.

Brenda and Faith were giving Tracy advise on how to soothe her baby girl Frankie, after she admitted she was struggling to get her to stop crying.

Faith suggested she sing to her and told them about when her mum sang Irish folk songs to her.

Faith then told a grateful Tracy she'd take Frankie for a walk around the village and sing to her to help get her off to sleep.

But as the heartfelt scene was taking place in the cafe viewers were quick to comment on the price of a popular Easter treat.

On the counter hot cross buns were being advertised for sale for £2.50 and fans were quick to express their outrage at the high price on social media.

Ryan Glendenning said: "£2.50 for a single hot cross bun b****y hell."

Beanz said: "Hot crossbuns £2.50! You can get eight from M&S for that."

And Allan Kent-Fisher said: "Robbing in the cafe in #Emmerdale, Hot cross buns £2.50 each."

Emmerdale was subject to Ofcom complaints this week following Paul's attack on Vinny last week.

The viscous attack took place before the watershed and Ofcom received 66 complaints after the scene.
