Emmerdale exit 'sealed' for Mackenzie as Charity kicks him out over baby betrayal

Emmerdale 's Mackenzie Boyd is tipped to leave the village for good, now that his shocking secret is out.

Charity Dingle learned the devastating news this week that her husband had cheated on her last summer with fellow villager Chloe Harris.

While Mack maintains that he thought they were over after a row, it was the second big secret that appeared to tear them apart in the latest episode.

Charity had remained in the dark about Mack's one-night stand with Chloe Harris last summer, and the fact Chloe fell pregnant.

Chloe recently welcomed her baby son, and while Mack kept this a secret and decided to stay out of his child's life, he was caught with the baby and Chloe on Thursday amid a health scare.

Charity walked in and found them together at the hospital, as Mack declared he was the dad of Reuben in a devastating twist.

On Friday, Charity confronted both Mack and Chloe for answers, and also found out others including her granddaughter Sarah Sugden knew about it all.

As Charity struggled to process the news and what was happening, she found out from Chloe that Mack had offered to buy the new mum and his secret son a flat away from the village.

Believing Mack was planning on living two separate lives to keep his secret from her, Charity raged at him as she refused to forgive his lies.

Charity confessed that had it just been about the fling and if Mack had said something at the time she may have been able to get past it.

But his lies and the cover-up that he was Reuben's dad, not to mention her family getting involved, was all too much and she instead kicked him out.

As Mack pleaded with her to let him stay so they could work it out, she told him: "Remember this moment for the rest of your life, the day you lost everything."

With that Mack walked out of the house and had severed his ties with several residents - so does this mean he will be forced to leave, and may even move on with Chloe and the baby?

Viewers suspected it could be the end of Mack, with one writing on Twitter : "Well what now...does Mack disappear with his brand new family?"

Another said: "Off you go Mackenzie," as a third added: "Well that’s the end of the road for charity and Mack then.. rightly so."

It comes amid Charity actress Emma Atkins hinting it might not be over for the pair.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Emma hinted that her and Mack might remain together, but she suggested there could be another big love triangle on the cards.

While she didn't specify whether it involved Chloe or someone else, Emma revealed the plot was farm from over - after boss Jane Hudson recently said the plot would run on into 2024.

She teased to us: "I think in the future we have been told that towards the end of the year, there is something we are not allowed to know yet. Another triangle I believe, unfinished business perhaps, but the three of us aren't being told anything."

On the future for the couple, Emma teased: "I have loved working with this guy and Jessie [Elland] and I don't think that's gonna end anytime soon, because they're so well connected.

"Okay, maybe the relationship is in tatters at the moment but the beauty of soap is you have always got to bump into those people because you are in the same village.

"Unless someone leaves or moves out or kills somebody which hopefully is not going to happen to us guys, it will be fine and we will continue in our way somehow, there will be the aftermath. There's always the aftermath... [there's] marriage counselling, [they could] try to make it work."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
