Emmerdale exit for Nate after devastating discovery about prison sentence?

Emmerdale spoilers confirm Nate Robinson is hiding something worrying from pregnant girlfriend Tracy Metcalfe.

As they prepare for big news about their unborn baby, Nate fears he may miss out on some much needed time with his family.

The character is due to attend a sentence hearing, after he took the blame for a recent hit-and-run.

Viewers know it was Jamie Tate who committed the crime, but he set up his ex Belle Dingle after she shopped him to the police.

To protect his aunt, whose mental health is spiralling as a result of the situation with Jamie, Nate took the blame with the police.

He now faces time in prison, but assured Tracy it would likely be a maximum of six months.

But he's left in turmoil next week, as spoilers for the ITV soap confirm the sentence could actually be two to three years.

Pregnant Tracy is worried enough about Nate missing the first months of their baby's life.

He decides against telling her, but will he be forced to leave the village if he's handed a lengthy sentence?

Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out how long Nate is possibly facing, and whether he will go down for the crime he didn't actually commit.

He confides in Lydia next week, who accompanies Tracy to her baby scan.

Tracy and Nate decide to wait before finding out the gender of their unborn child, wanting a reveal party instead.

But as she heads off, Nate tells Lydia his fears and the truth about what the hearing may bring.

Shocked by his confession, Lydia urges him to tell Tracy the truth but will he reveal all?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
