Emmerdale death rocks the village as soap kicks off shock new storyline

Emmerdale is lining up a death twist, as it’s been confirmed human bones will be uncovered at the school.

In a chilling storyline, police will reveal the remains of a baby have been found, leading to an even bigger discovery.

School headmistress Jessie is left troubled when she learns what has happened at her school.

While few details are revealed to her, she’s made aware that the remains belong to an infant, and work gets underway to identity the mother.

In another twist, it’s revealed it’s likely that the mother was a young student at the school at the time the death occurred.

Jessie has to prepare for a press conference to alert the public of the unfolding situation, as well as appeal for any information.

It’s not long though before it’s revealed the mother could well be a very familiar face.

The mother is identified by a photo (ITV)

DI Bradwell reveals a photo of the teenager they believe to be the mum, a sixteen year old named Jenny Finn.

While it’s not been revealed when the incident took place, it has been confirmed that the photo will lead to a shock.

When viewers do get to see the snap of Jenny, she’ll appear to look a lot like one of the villagers.

The scenes are tipped to be the start of a huge new plot on the soap.

But who is the lady in the photo, and what happened?

Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out as the plot unfolds over the coming weeks.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
