Emmerdale: Dawn blamed for horrifying attack on Harriet as culprit strikes again

Emmerdale airs concern for Dawn, when she quickly comes under suspicion over Harriet’s attack.

After being attacked by a hooded figure in broad daylight, Harriet was left shaken and unsure who was out to get her.

Next week, the police interview her over what happened, but it’s clear the villagers have their own suspicions.

PC Swirling questions her over the incident, and she hits back over speculation Dawn could be involved thanks to her shady past.

Before Harriet took Dawn in she was battling drugs, while she was also involved with drugs dealers and pimps.

It’s not long before Dawn realises she’s a suspect, when the police come knocking to quiz her.

With Dawn clearly concerned for Harriet, she’s left feeling vindicated with the fact so many villagers think she’s to blame.

While Pearl sides with Dawn, Harriet’s pal Bob isn’t convinced Dawn is so innocent.

It’s not long before Harriet feels threatened once more, when it appears someone has broken in.

She heads downstairs to find her back door open and a photo has been smashed.

A day later, and there’s more concern when she discovers red paint has been thrown all over the pulpit at the church.

She’s clearly rattled by the situation, but is she in danger?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV with an extra episode at 8pm on ITV.
