Emmerdale fans were making the same point after David revealed the reason why he couldn't go to Ibiza with Meena.
The long running soap 's resident villain agreed to accompany her sister Manpreet to the Spanish Island - after it was revealed Aiesha has been admitted to hospital there.
The Paige Sandhu character is only concerned about the incident because she is using it as an alibi after she was nearly caught breaking into Victoria Sugden's house in Tuesday's edition of the ITV show.

Meena is over-protective of her partner David Metcalfe and his chemistry with Victoria has led fans to speculate the Isabel Hodgins' character could be her next victim.
Meena tried to manipulate the incident in her favour by asking David to accompany her on the trip to Ibiza.
But David declined her offer due to his commitments at home.
He said: "I can't just drop everything and go to Ibiza. I can't leave Theo or the shop."
Fans of the show took to Twitter to make the same point that David could close the shop since there are never any customers there.
One user said: "David never has any customers so it's no loss if the shop closes"
Another added: "David’s shop heaving busy again … Said ‘no one ever’"
A third commented: "How does David’s shop stay open? There’s literally no one in there!"
