Emmerdale star Jurell Carter has confirmed a return for Cara Robinson, the mother of his character Nate.
Nate will make a potentially life-changing decision in upcoming scenes, leading to his mother heading back to the village.
Pregnant Tracy Metcalfe will be horrified to learn her partner Nate is considering taking the blame for the recent crash, to stop his aunt Belle Dingle going to prison.
Belle is being framed by her ex Jamie Tate, who is the real driver who almost killed Moira Dingle.
But with Belle becoming the prime suspect, her mental health spirals and Nate feels he has to take the blame to stop her going to prison.

Now, it's been confirmed Tracy will reach out to Nate's mum Cara in a bid to stop him doing it.
Whether it will work remains unseen, but speaking to Mirror online and other press, actor Jurell revealed all about the comeback of Cain Dingle's ex, who is played by actress Carryl Thomas.
He said: "I don’t know for how long [she's back] but with the situation of Nate taking the rap for Belle, and Tracy getting involved and wanting to do her best to prevent that, she calls on Cara for help.

"Cara comes back to the village to try and change Nate’s mind but for how long, who knows...That’s amazing for me."
He went on: "They have a really strong relationship and out of everyone Nate and Cara’s relationship is the strongest and most loving, as she is all he has had.
"There’s a lot of legs with that so it’ll be interesting."

Tracy will beg Nate to reconsider fearing he won't be there to support her and their baby.
He's left torn over what to do, but as he heads to the police station will he really go through with it?
His dad Cain will stand by him, as he and wife Moira attempt to expose Jamie for once and for all.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
