Emmerdale 'confirms' Nate is plotting against Cain Dingle in new Kyle twist

Emmerdale may have just confirmed newcomer Nate Robinson is working against Cain Dingle, after fans grew convinced he was a figure from his past.

Ever since he arrived earlier this year, Nate has clashed with Cain, and keeps getting involved in his business.

Cain's wife Moira accused Nate of targeting him, but this didn't stop the pair embarking on a fling.

Things heat up again for them next week, but it isn't just him going after Cain's wife that has left fans thinking he has a vendetta.

There's also the fact he's been encouraging lover Amy Wyatt to pursue a custody battle against Cain, to gain access to their son Kyle.

Nate has told Amy to take legal action in the hope Cain will not have sole custody any longer, and on Thursday night there appeared to be a twist.

After a run-in with the police amid her and mum Kerry keeping the secret that they were behind the factory fire, Amy had a chat with Cain.

They came to the agreement that Amy would drop her case, and no longer take things to court.

Cain was happy with this, while promising Amy she could have more access to Kyle - unaware Nate was looking, and it's clear his plan was not working.

He pulled a face as though it's not what he wanted, clearly wanting Amy and Cain to be against each other.

He later had a go at her, claiming she was letting Cain win - further fueling claims he was out to take the village bad boy down.

Amy refused to listen to him, as he fumed over her decision just a week before his intimate scenes with Moira.

The scenes left viewers more convinced than ever that Nate is out to get Cain for some reason yet to be revealed.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
