Emmerdale fans may soon say goodbye to a village favourite.
Vicar Harriet Finch, played by Katherine Dow Blyton, has had a traumatic time of things. Emmerdale viewers will know she has struggled to come to terms with her role in the death of Mark Malone.
The Express reports, Harriet will make a big decision on Christmas Day to leave the church - with a view to leaving the village also.

Viewers will see Harriet take one last look at St. Mary’s and then remove her dog collar.
Previously, acting star Katherine Dow Blyton has discussed the unpredictable landscape of soapland and how characters’ exits can play out.
Earlier this year, Katherine said: "There have got to be consequences, whether that happens a year down the line or two years down the line, you can’t get away with murder.
"But I’ll stay for as long as they want me to stay. I love the show and the role; thank heavens for it."
