There’s been lots of speculation amongst Emmerdale fans about who Chole’s father is with acting star Jessie Elland putting a Hollywood star’s name forward.
The character of Chloe Harris has been somewhat mysterious since she appeared in the village with Emmerdale fans offering lots of theories about her background and who her father is.
Newcomer Jessie Elland, who plays Chloe, has spoken to Inside Soap about who she’d like to see play her dad. She’s set her sights pretty high eyeing a Hollywood and Yorkshire legend.

Jessie said: “Maybe a Sean Bean-esque baddie? I’m picturing a stereotypical northern man with a big ginger beard. A Sean Bean kind of vibe.”
Down the years, Sheffield star Sean has appeared in the James Bond and Lord of The Rings franchises. If Sean did join Emmerdale he wouldn’t be the first Hollywood star to appear in the soap.
Patsy Kensit and Amanda Donahoe appeared in some major movies before joining Emmerdale. Jenna Coleman, Anna Friel and Amy Nuttall went on to feature in some famous films after spells in Emmerdale.
Discussing fan theories about the background of Chole Harris, her alter ego, Jessie Elland revealed many are wide of the mark.
Jessie said: “I don’t go looking for them but my family are very keen on putting them in the group chat. My dad and uncle call me ‘creepy Chloe’ which is in quite a few articles.
“There are some juicy theories, and it is fun to see people guessing and trying to connect the dots, but no one has got it right - yet.”
