Emmerdale characters to face grave danger as Mandy's vow to save her family backfires

Emmerdale airs fresh danger in the village for two residents next week on the ITV soap, as Mandy Dingle teams up with Mackenzie Boyd.

The character is still devastated over the loss of her partner Paul Ashdale earlier this month, especially after learning he was lying to her for months.

Not only was he gambling, landing the entire family in huge debt, but he was violently beating their son Vinny in horrific scenes.

In the fallout of the doom and gloom, Mandy has the funeral to pay for on top of the £5,000 debt Paul racked up in Lydia Dingle's name.

Lydia struggles to prove her innocence at the bank, so the family try to think up ways to raise the cash needed.

But Mandy is left concerned when Vinny attempts gambling using his dad's old notes, and she fears he will end up like him.

Vinny's ex Liv is also desperate to help out, and to stop Vinny from gambling for the money.

Desperate to take the pressure off of Vinny and save her family, Mandy uses something to her advantage when she overhears a conversation between Nicola and Mackenzie.

Knowing he is up to something she wants in, and threatens Mack that she will expose him unless he lets her have a cut.

She could regret this though, as she makes a mistake that lands them both in grave danger.

Mack is rattled when he realises Mandy won't take no for an answer, but he will be left wishing he'd refused.

When the pair meet with Kev who Mack is dealing with, Mandy's actions leave them both in serious danger - but what has she done?

Viewers will have to tune in next week to find out what happens, and if the characters will be okay.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
