Emmerdale fans were delighted as a main character returned to the soap after a long period of absence.
Former vicar Harriet hasn't appeared on the soap since July.
Prior to this, she had suffered a mental breakdown following her part in the murder of DI Malone.

Her guilt culminated in Harriet locking herself in a cellar as a form of punishment.
However, following her recovery, she moved in with Dan and his daughter Amelia.
Yet despite having a huge part in the soap over the past 12 months, Harriet hadn't been seen by viewers since July.
However, she was back in tonight's first instalment, to the delight of fans - but many were asking what she'd been up to over the past three months.
Kezza tweeted: "Glad Harriet moved back in with Dawn & Lucas."
Shannon questioned: "@ emmerdale where has Harriet been? She’s just appeared from no where but thanked Dan and Amelia for letting her stay?"
Courtney said: "Where has Harriet even been?"
Estella tweeted: "When you haven’t seen Harriet for ages then she suddenly appears."
