Emmerdale will soon welcome Footballers Wives and Hollyoaks star Ben Richards to the team after the actor was cast for a new role.
Talent agency International Artists Management announced the casting on social media recently.
Followed by a retweet by Richards himself sharing his excitement at bagging a role on the long-running ITV soap.

The actor penned: "Am so chuffed to announce this, gonna be fun #blessed #filming #Emmerdale."
It has not yet been confirmed who Ben Richards character will be, however his loyal fan base were quick to comment expressing their delight at his new gig.
One social media user responded: "Best news I have heard today. Congrats it's gonna be awesome seeing you on my TV again xx"
A second said: "Oh fantastic you will be excellent on the show."
While another fan penned: "Congratulations Ben enjoy every moment whilst filming can't wait to see u on screen."
However it seems some think they'll have trouble separating Ben from previous memorable characters he's played.
One fan said: "Amazing news, can't wait for this, but u will always be Bruno from footballers wives, that show needs to come back with Bruno as manager."
A second added: ""Hands down, you will always be Nate from The Bill as that is what I first saw you in! sorry not sorry cannot wait to see you in Emmerdale though!"
Ben is a familiar face having appeared in multiple TV shows, he is best recognised for his character Bruno Milligan on Footballers' Wives back in 2004 and Ben Bradley in Hollyoaks.
He has also starred in The Bill and Holby City.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
