Emmerdale bullying torment escalates for April as fans 'work out' identity of troll

Emmerdale airs fresh turmoil next week, as young April Windsor's online bullying ordeal is far from over.

The youngster, 12, was recently the victim of trolling on her social media with cruel taunts under her posts, including some about her dead mother Donna.

The hurtful comments left her feeling isolated and devastated, as a mystery bully began mocking her online and encouraging others to do the same.

When her father Marlon Dingle learned the truth, he was mortified and tried to comfort her after finding April at her mother's graveside.

He believed the best course of action would be to take her phone away from her, so that she could not receive any more painful taunts.

Of course this would not stop the bullying, and this is something April learns the hard way next week.

Marlon decides to give her her phone back, leaving her thrilled as she can't wait to get back on to her social media.

But she's forced to promise her dad that she won't do that, as he tells her not to go back on any of the sites she had been targeted on.

She agrees to this, but soon temptation gets the better of her and she goes back onto her social media behind his back.

Unfortunately, there's upset ahead when as soon as she logs back in she finds distressing comments from her bully once again.

She despairs as she finds all the messages waiting for her, after hoping it would have stopped.
