Emmerdale fans were quick to spot a problem on Monday night's episode as Russ came back into Wendy's life.
Wendy was left stunned as she returned to the village to find her ex-husband waiting for her.
Russ said he wanted the cash that had been left to Harry, after his mum cut him out of his will.

Wendy rushed off to work and said she'd call him, but Russ turned up to her workplace demanding that she sort it out.
The pair argued, with Wendy saying she wasn't surprised that he'd been cut out because he treated his mum "like dirt, like a doormat."
But Russ threatened Wendy saying if she didn't get the cash he'd tell everyone her secrets.
Wendy looked stunned as he said he'd tell Victoria all about her past and what she'd done.
However viewers were left confused and wondering why Wendy just didn't go to the police and say she was being harassed, rather than being blackmailed.
Vera D said: "Ex husband turns up and blackmails you, normal people go to the police - emmerdale long boring story."
Jodie said: "Why the hell does everyone give in to blackmail go to police. He has no rights end of."
Swalk said: "Ring the police Wendy. Say he’s threatening you. Job done! But oh no this soap will drag this out for weeks I bet!!!"
And Dion said: "Why does everyone give in to blackmail."
