Ben Richards has confirmed he is set to join the cast of Emmerdale.
The 49-year-old actor couldn't hide his excitement as he confirmed he is set to be the new face on the long-running soap.
The actor retweeted his representatives statement he is joining the show with his 21.7k Twitter followers - and said how he felt "blessed" to be a part of Emmerdale.

He said: "I'm so chuffed to announce this, gonna be fun #blessed #filming #Emmerdale"
The actor has yet to reveal what kind of character he will play - but fans flooded the comments to say how they will always know him from his previous roles.
The star is well-known to soap fans for his iconic portrayal of Bruno Milligan in Footballer's Wives and Nate Roberts from The Bill.
Dan Roberts said: "Amazing news, can't wait for this, but you will always be Bruno from Footballers' Wives. "
Declan Kincaid added: "I look forward to seeing this but I’m sorry you’ll always be Bruno from Footballers Wives."
Mark posted: "Congrats Bruno, sorry Ben."

Ben's exciting news received a strong response from fellow actors from the world of the Soaps.
Brookside star Claire Sweeney said: "Great news darling xxx."
