The actor who plays an Emmerdale bad boy has hinted viewers might soon see him get his comeuppance.
Alex Lincoln, who plays Jaime Tate, has been discussing his ongoing storyline with Gabby Thomas. Many viewers have been shocked watching Jamie attempt to wriggle out of parenthood.
This is because Gabby’s pregnancy would ruin his chances of a relationship with Dawn Taylor. Jamie has been pushing Gabby towards having an abortion.

Actor Alex has been talking to Digital Spy about the storyline.
"Jamie is waiting for something to happen. He's waiting for some sort of complication which could make his wishes come true, in that Gabby loses the baby," he said.
"I think a small part of it is also that Jamie believes Gabby is doing anything to get him on side, so might be trying to manipulate him in that way. Jamie doesn't like being manipulated, even though he is every month at least.
"He doesn't particularly care for Gabby, at least in a relationship sense, and he's really trying to make that clear."
The actor was asked how he thought Emmerdale viewers would respond to Jamie’s actions.
He answered: "I haven't actually looked, but judging by what I've had in the past, I imagine that people aren't particularly happy that Jamie is trying to trick Gabby into getting the child aborted.
"In terms of the way that he treats Gabby, there's definitely going to be a lot of comeuppance for Jamie. I think the viewers are definitely going to side with Gabby on that one – although there's a little bit of manipulation and cloak and dagger from her end as well."
