Emmerdale and EastEnders couple in super soap crossover as they pose with Corrie star

We're getting more and more used to seeing soap crossovers but there was a super one over the weekend.

EastEnders' Toby Alexander Smith and his Emmerdale girlfriend Amy Walsh cosied up for a few selfies as they attended a wedding together.

The loved-up couple shared the snap on their respective Instagram pages where the pair often keep tight-lipped on their romance.

Toby, who is best known for playing murderer Grey in BBC's EastEnders, was all smiles for the adorable selfie alongside Amy, who portrays Tracy Metcalfe in Emmerdale.

Amy, 34, looked glam in a khaki green wrap dress, patterned with black hearts while Toby, 31, kept it smart-casual with a black T-shirt under a brown tweed blazer.

"AT THE MACHIN-CRANE WEDDING 2.0," Amy shared alongside the photo as she shared it with her Instagram followers.

And later, the couple also got a new selfie partner in the shape of a Coronation Street star.

Shona Platt actress Julia Goulding was also at the same wedding and Amy shared a beautiful snap of the trio.

Amy and Toby first went public with their relationship last Christmas when they were pictured on the red carpet at the opening night of A Christmas Carol in London.

When the Emmerdale actress appeared on Loose Women back in June, she spoke of how Toby experienced abuse from fans due to the star's evil on-screen character.

In the BBC soap, Gray Atkins killed his wife Chantelle, played by Jessica Plummer, in a domestic abuse storyline before he committed murder again when Tina Carter rumbled what he had done.

"He’s been quite lucky but you do get a bit [of hate]. It’s more online than anything else.

"But I just always say it’s because you’re so good, you’re doing a good job and that’s all that matters."
