Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans FUMING that show has been cancelled by ITV tonight and Monday

Soap fans are furious that Emmerdale and Coronation Street has been cancelled tonight and Monday.

Currently a number of dramatic storylines are playing out on both shows.

On Emmerdale , viewers are intrigued to see whether Maya and Jacob's sick relationship remains undiscovered.

Viewers finally thought the pair were going to be caught out when Tracy came round and discovered Maya downstairs with a huge plate of food, after she'd previously seduced Jake who was still upstairs.

And Coronation Street fans are recovering from the devastating factory collapse which left Rana Habeeb dead and other Wetherfield residents injured.

But ITV bosses have ripped up the normal soap schedule because of Live International Football - and fans are furious, report the Mirror.

On Friday night, England take on the Czech Republic in their opening qualifying match for Euro 2020.

Then on Monday the football takes over again when Gareth Southgate's boys face Montenegro.

However, EastEnders will air tonight as usual on BBC One at 8pm.

Outraged Emmerdale and Corrie fans have taken to  Twitter  to reveal their frustration.

One fan said: "Emmerdale and Corrie over international football all day"

Another added: "Why can’t they put the footie on one of the other ITV channels!"

A third said: "No #emmerdale tonight ? That sucks."

However, there is a silver lining for Corrie fans as there will be an hour-long episode on Sunday.
