Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans fuming as football pushes back ITV schedule

Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans were left fuming tonight as the Euro football meant that both shows were rescheduled.

ITV showed the Spain v Switzerland Euro quarter final, which was due to finish at 7:30pm.

But the match went into overtime and penalties, meaning that Emmerdale which was due to air at 7:30pm had to be moved.

Garry Enfield said: "B****y football has gone to extra time, now #Emmerdale is delayed. Damn it."

*Emmerdale continues at 7pm on ITV on Monday
