Emmerdale airs murder twist as Kim Tate arrested after Pierce Harris' confession

Emmerdale aired a twist on Wednesday night, as Kim Tate was arrested for conspiring to murder Graham Foster - just a week after Pierce Harris confessed to the murder.

The police came knocking to take her away, after receiving information about Kim arranging his death.

Graham was killed in January, with Kim having plotted his death with the help of Al Chapman.

It was Pierce who killed him though, finally arrested after Marlon Dingle's wrongful imprisonment.

But Kim's guilt over ordering Graham's death led to her pretty much spilling the beans to daughter-in-law Andrea this week.

After getting drunk, she basically confirmed she'd hired someone to take Graham out.

Kim's son Jamie Tate eventually worked out the truth from her, but was divided over whether to do anything about it.

His estranged wife Andrea was adamant she needed to be punished, and was shocked by Jamie sticking by her.

On Wednesday, Andrea continued to make her feelings pretty clear.

She even warned Graham's partner Rhona that Kim was "dangerous".

Kim recently stopped Rhona from helping plan the funeral, and didn't even let her or anyone go to the service.

Andrea left Rhona worried, while she was also seen making a phone call to her solicitor after a threat from Kim.

She claimed to have information about Kim that she could use to her advantage in her court case for custody of daughter Millie.

Later on, when she came face-to-face with Rhona, she revealed all about the threats - and her arrangement to have Graham killed.

Moments later, Rhona told Marlon all about it, while protecting their identity - while it wasn't made entirely clear which of the three characters made the call to the cops.

But with Rhona questioning whether Pierce or Al were the mystery hitman, could there be more trouble ahead?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
