Emmerdale aired shocking scenes on New Year’s Eve, as Noah Dingle was caught in the crossfire of Mackenzie’s revenge.
Moira Dingle’s brother Mack had been working with Kim Tate, behind Noah’s mum Charity Dingle’s back – something he confessed to her during the hour-long special.
The pair had been stashing stolen goods, and during Thursday’s episode they planned to rob Home Farm.
Charity was confronted by Cain Dingle though over the plan, before he blackmailed her into setting Mackenzie up amid their growing feud.
This backfired though when Mackenzie quickly figured out she was up to something and planned his revenge, wanting to set her up instead with the police.

As Noah and brother Ryan waited at the pub for Charity, who was meant to be attending Ryan’s birthday meal, Mackenzie showed up having just locked Charity in the house.
Realising something was wrong, hearing Mack on the phone to Kim, Noah went looking for his mum at Home Farm.
As he found her drunk in a room he begged her to leave with him before the police got there, leading to them having to flee the premises.

Unluckily for them the police caught up with them as they ran, but only Noah got caught in front of Cain and Aaron as Charity hid in a bush.
Noah took the blame though as the police officer raced over to him and accused him of being the thief – after Mackenzie made an anonymous tip off claiming there was a break-in unfolding.
As Cain and Aaron watched on, Noah claimed it was only him and no one else involved leading to him being taken away in the car.

Aaron and Cain knew the truth, especially with them having been in the pub with Noah earlier on.
As Noah was taken away, Charity watched on in horror as her son covered for her crime – risking his future.
But will she really stand back and allow it to happen, and will Mackenzie regret his decision?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode on Thursdays at 7pm.
