Meanwhile, the drama in the Dales continues as Paul's brutal attack on Vinny is discovered by the other villagers.
Paul is left panicked when he discovers from Aaron that Liv is already at the hospital with Vinny and had called the police about the attack.
Vinny is finally almost about to tell the police about his dad at the hospital when he spots Paul approaching and instantly goes quiet.
Liv is left incredibly suspicious when Paul criticises her for calling the police and is determined to stick up for Vinny, insisting that they do something.
But Vinny is aware of Paul's escalating fury towards Live and tells her to leave in a bid to protect her.
Paul is pleased with himself having managed to drive a wedge between Liv and Vinny, who discharges himself from hospital the next sat under the influence of Paul.
Liv later arrives at the Dingle household but Vinny is wary to be alone with her and tries his best to stick to Paul's story.
When Liv mentions Connor, Vinny panics but before she can delve into it any more, Paul arrive and threatens her to back off, or else.
Vinny is terrified for Liv's safety and ends their relationship, leaving her utterly devastated.
Yet, her distress acts as fuel to search out Connor and discover the truth about what's going on...
