Emmerdale actor dishes the dirt on fan favourite's shock return to ITV soap

An Emmerdale star has opened up on a character’s shock return to the ITV soap.

Jeff Hordley, 50, who plays Cain Dingle has spoken about the return of his character’s mum Faith Dingle. Sally Dexter plays Faith and her return is sure to cause fireworks.

There’s already a predicted love triangle between her, Eric Pollard and Brenda Walker. While, her relationship with estranged son Cain is fractured, to say the least.

Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women, Jeff, said: “Sally Dexter is the most amazing human and a great actress so I’m just thrilled to be back working with her.

“She’s the character, in terms of Cain, who can actually make him do things which nobody else can. He just wants his mother’s love and she’s always let him down.

“So, she has this hold no other character possesses. It’ll be interesting to see how the dynamics of their relationship will be.”

We’ll keep you posted with everything that happens during Faith’s return.
