Emmerdale actor Dean Andrews teases Harriet and Will romance despite murder attempt

Emmerdale actor Dean Andrews has teased that Harriet Finch and Will Taylor could still strike up a romance - despite the vicar's ex attempting to kill her. Small details.

Harriet will be in mortal danger next week after her ex Will attempts to kill her using a coffin.

Next week on Emmerdale, Harriet is horrified when she discovers the full extent of Will's wrath and the lengths he has gone to hurt her.

After a guilty Dawn (Olivia Bromley) lies to the vicar and says she hasn't been in contact with her father, Dawn realises the true extent of his disturbing state of mind.

At Woodbine, Harriet finds that Will has left a box of leaflets to celebrate her life as though it was her funeral.

The next day, Dawn and Will end up getting involved in a tussle and Dawn ends up bashing her head on the table.

Emmerdale spoiler: Harriet Finch for shock exit as she's crushed by coffin?

"He’s using his daughter, there’s no doubt about it, even though he loves her," actor Dean Andrews, who plays Will, revealed. "He’s using her for his own ends because he’s got that red mist and his only focus is not about building another life and being pleased about being out of jail, he just wants to exact revenge on the person that he loved that put him in that place for a long a time."

When Harriet sees that Dawn has been left injured by her father she is left fuming and locks her in the house to head to the church.

Furious, she faces Will for the first time in years since she got him locked up, but things quickly spiral out of control when his anger gets the better of him and he tries to crush her with a coffin lid.

Asked whether Will could still love Harriet despite his twisted bid for revenge, Dean said: "It’s that point where you never quite know until that person’s right in front of you. I suppose we’ve all had a relationship where one moment you’re like, ‘I can’t stand you’, and next moment you’re back in love. I guess that [example] is quite a jump from jail.

"But it is Emmerdale! [laughs] I don’t know. I don’t know until that moment arrives. I don’t want him to be awful all the time."

*Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with episodes at 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday on ITV
