Emmerdale abuser Maya disgusts fans after conning David out of his savings

Abusive teacher Maya Stepney left viewers disgusted once again this evening as she managed to con partner David Metcalfe out of his savings.

Tonight, the shop owner saw Maya trying to sell her car in a bid to raise money to pay off Liv, who discovered the teacher in bed with Jacob.

Of course, however, she lied and claimed she needed the money because of her expensive divorce.

David insisted that he help her out by giving her his savings.

Later, she viciously lashed out at Jacob for giving Val's ring back.

Tomorrow, David looks set to make one of his biggest mistakes yet as he plans to propose to his abusive girlfriend.

Little does he know that son Jacob, 16, has stolen the wedding ring from grandfather Eric Pollard's house.

Val died in 2015 after the helicopter crash and left husband Eric the piece of jewellery.

But Jacob still decided to steal the ring, despite almost being caught, before offering it to Liv as payment.

Maya and student Jacob were caught in bed together by Liv, who demanded money from them to keep the ordeal quiet.

Jacob has been frantically trying to scrape some money together by stealing, while Maya tried to sell her car before David intervened.

This led to her lying about how much her divorce settlement to David.

When will he find out the truth?
