NFL teams have reached out to the Broncos about the possibility of trading for wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and Denver is expected to move the veteran before the trade deadline on Oct. 29.
On Sunday afternoon, after reports emerged that Sanders would likely be traded, the receiver tweeted a fitting GIF.
The GIF could be interpreted many ways. Whatever kind of message Sanders intended to send, it was likely related to the trade speculation.
Sanders had a somewhat untimely sponsored tweet on Monday, promoting a giveaway for tickets to the Broncos’ road game against the Vikings in Week 11. That game will take place three weeks after the trade deadline so Sanders probably won’t be on the roster for the game he is helping send some Broncos fans to.
Denver has also received trade calls about cornerback Chris Harris but he seems less likely to be traded. Harris is also set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2020 but the Broncos are already thin at cornerback.
