The first trailer for Disney’s forthcoming film Cruella, starring Emma Stone, has arrived.
The clip shows Stone’s Cruella donning the villain’s iconic black and white hairstyle.
“The thing is I was born brilliant, born bad and a little mad,” the character is heard saying in a voiceover.
Set in the Seventies, the forthcoming film will explore the life and evolution of 101 Dalmatians character Cruella De Vil.
The notorious villain – previously known as Estella – is seen growing up in London among the punk rock scene, and later attempting to find success as a fashion designer.

Emma Thompson is also seen for the first time in her role as the Baroness – the head of a prestigious fashion house that hires Estella.
The character was previously portrayed by Oscar nominee Glenn Close in the 1996 live-action remake of the original 1961 animated film. Close also serves on Cruella as an executive producer.
Disney’s Cruella is directed by Craig Gillepsie (previously I Tonya).
The film is slated for release on 26 May.
