The family of Emma Faulds have revealed that her funeral will take place next week.
The tragic Kilmarnock woman will be finally laid to rest on Wednesday, July 3.
A service will take place at Kilmarnock's New Laigh Kirk, Bank Street at 2pm followed by a brief service at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn, North Ayrshire at 3.30pm.
Ms Faulds' father, Ian, owns David Faulds & Son Butcher on Kilmarnock's John Finnie Street.
A statement from the butcher's Facebook page read today: "Perhaps it’s my fault for not putting Emma’s notices in the newspaper but lots of customers and friends are unaware of the arrangements for Emma’s funeral.
"It will take place next Wednesday, July 3, at 2pm at the New Laigh Kirk Kilmarnock followed by a brief service at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn at 3.30pm.
"For those of you who are travelling a distance please give yourself plenty of time as parking around the church is extremely limited.
"Emma wasn’t one for dark colours so bright colourful clothes would be appreciated.
"As I mentioned last week the support and love from the community and beyond is very much appreciated by us all. Please keep Emma in your prayers and in your thoughts."
Police confirmed on Friday, June 14 that human remains found on Wednesday, June 12 were that of Ms Faulds.
Forensic officers made the discovery while searching an area of the Galloway Forest Park near Glentrool, Wigtownshire, on Wednesday, June 12.
Police said that specialist officers are continuing to provide support to her family.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can now confirm that the human remains which were discovered in the Galloway Forest area on Wednesday, June 12, are that of Emma Faulds.
"Emma's family have been made aware and specialist officers are continuing to provide support to her family."
