Much has been made of Emma Bunton considering another little Baby Spice before the menopause.
But now The Spice Girl has revealed it’s not just her biological clock piling on the pressure to have a third child.
It’s her two boys, Beau, 13, and Tate, 10, as well.
In fact they are so desperate for a sibling, Beau recently gave his mum Emma, 45, and his dad Jade, 42, a cheeky order: To, um, spend some Zig-a-zig-ahh quality time together in the bedroom.
“My eldest said, ‘You need to go in there and have sex and have a child!’,” Emma told Netmums’ Sweat, Snot & Tears podcast.
“And do you know what the kids put at the top of their Christmas list this year – a sibling, no pressure!” Last week she revealed she was perimenopausal so will have to take the plunge sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile, Emma has several new babies of a different sort to nuture: her parenting book, Mama You’ve Got This, and some exciting projects with her fellow Spices.
Emma teases there may be surprises in the works, not ruling out another tour.
She said: “I love that part of my life. I watched the Friends Reunion and I cried. I thought ‘That’s how people feel about the Spice Girls’. It’s so emotional.”
