Emirates to resume flights from Glasgow Airport to Dubai in July

Emirates has confirmed they will resume flights from Glasgow Airport in July.

The airline announced this morning that they will restart passenger flights to its Dubai hub on Wednesday, July 15 - bringing its network of flights to 52 destinations.

Dubai will also be open to business and leisure visitors from July 7.

New safety measures will be in place for all Emirates flights, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and wipes.

Plans to resume flights were initially tabled back in April, via a daily flight serving Dubai International Airport using their Airbus A380 plane as was the case previously.

The airline also plans to operate a second daily flight to the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates from Saturday, August 1 using their Boeing 777-300 plane.
