Emirates currently has cheap flights to Dubai with return fares from £379pp

Brits planning Dubai holidays may want to check out Emirates' latest deals, as the airline currently has return fares from £379pp to the UAE city.

The cheapest fares are based on London airport departures, with returns from £379pp at Gatwick and £389pp at Heathrow.

However when we took a look there were also deals to be found based on other UK airports including Birmingham fares from £439pp, Glasgow fares from £445pp, Manchester fares from £455pp and Newcastle fares from £445pp.

You can already book on the Emirates website but you'll need to do so by November 3, when the deal expires.

There's a generous window of travel dates, as the deals are valid for flights until September 2022.

All of the cheap flights are based on economy returns, but there were business class deals although these started from £1,999pp.

Dubai is currently on the UK's 'rest of the world' list meaning you won't need to stay in a quarantine hotel back in the UK.

If you're fully vaccinated against Covid, you'll just need to take a PCR test on day two after landing. If you're unvaccinated or partially vaccinated you'll need to fill out a pre-departure form, take PCR tests on days two and eight, and self-isolate for 10 days from arrival in the UK.

Currently Dubai's entry rules for Brits include needing a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure, and filling out a health questionnaire.

You'll also be required to fill out a quarantine form, although visitors to Dubai will not be required to quarantine. (It's worth noting that you may be required to take a PCR test on arrival in which case you may be asked to self-isolate until the result is confirmed).

(Travel rules are correct at the time of writing but can change quickly so always check the latest Foreign Office advice before booking or going on a trip).

It's also worth noting that there is a risk in booking flights and accommodation separately as if rules change and a flight is not cancelled, it can be harder to get your money back. Emirates does also offer package holidays to Dubai if you would prefer to take this route - and we've also got a guide with tips for finding cheap Dubai holidays.

If you are planning a trip, our booking tips may come in useful with advice on everything from your refund rights during the pandemic, to why you should get travel insurance in place as soon as you book.

The Dubai flights aren't the only deals Emirates are offering up at the moment.

The airline also has a sale to the likes of the Seychelles, Maldives and Mauritius with return fares from £529pp in Economy. You can find out more on the Emirates website here, although you'll need to book by October 16 when the deals on these destinations will end.
