Emirates coming to Edinburgh this month on the hunt for cabin crew to travel the world

If you are looking for a change of career and would love travel the world for work, then Emirates might just have the dream job for you. 

The company are holding an open day in Edinburgh this month, where they will be on the hunt for new cabin crew to join the team.

You could ditch your 9-5pm office job to fly with the international airline across globe, as they transport passengers across the world to 158 destinations across six contintents.

Cabin crew get a variety of benefits, not to mention a tax-free income, free accommodation in Dubai, free transport to and from work, medical and dental cover, as well as exclusive discounts on shopping and leisure activities in Dubai.

But the airline also has strict guidelines on who makes cabin crew staff, including rules on age, height and tattoos.

You must be at least 21, have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes and be a minimum height of 160cm.

You also have to be a high school graduate who is fluent in English and have no visible tattoos while wearing cabin crew uniform.

They even suggest checking out their "grooming guidelines" before taking photos for your application in order to "set a great first impression".

The open day will take place at Novotel on Lauriston Place at 9am on Sunday 20 October. If you want to go along you will need to fill out an application on the Emirates website here beforehand.
