Emirates A380 superjumbo makes first landing at Manchester Airport since lockdown in March

This the moment an Emirates A380 superjumbo made its first landing at Manchester Airport since the first lockdown in March.

The impressive aircraft was captured coming into land this morning (November 4) in crisp Autumnal conditions.

The moment was captured by an aviation photographer and shared on the YouTube account, AviationUpclose.

Matt, from AviationUpclose, wrote: "Just one day before England goes back into a full lockdown for the month, Emirates sent the A380 for a one off EK17/18 rotation, I'd imagine this was done in an effort to move as many passengers as possible before all non-essential travel is postponed.

" This is the first A380 to land at Manchester (And anywhere in the UK other than Heathrow, I believe) since March 24th.

"It was great to be there to see it! I was already meant to be at the airport for non spotting related affairs, so this was definitely a nice bonus!"
