The $400,000 top prize went to Kerby Jean-Raymond of fashion label Pyer Mos. Judges praised its celebration of black culture and its activism — it has raised issues such as police brutality and racism in its shows.
The event was in partnership with Swarvoski Nominee Cocktail Party.
