Emily Atack teases new look as she goes blonder and gets hair extensions

Emily Atack has got brand new hair - and she looks incredible.

The 31-year-old actress and TV personality showed off her freshly-dyed locks on Instagram on Sunday after visiting her friends at Kitch Hair in Islington, London, over the weekend.

The outgoing telly favourite appeared to get her blonde highlights touched up at the 1950's style salon, showing off the results shortly after.

Emily appeared to opt for hair extensions, as she went from having a blonde bob to shoulder-length hair during her trip.

Her new hair looked shinier and lighter than ever, perfectly framing her face.

Emily wore natural makeup for the selfie, which complimented her enviable locks.

"Fresh bonce. Fanks friends," Emily wrote, pleased with her transformation.

Emily's famous pals couldn't help but compliment her makeover.

Maya Jama and Nikki Sanderson left heart-eye emojis in the comments section, while some of her fans called her "sensational".

She has been working on herself in recent months, and the results speak loud and clear.

Emily shed over a stone in the coronavirus lockdown, and she is looking incredible.

Speaking to Women's Health magazine earlier this month, the star revealed that she had completely turned her lifestyle around during the pandemic and found a new love for healthy cooking and maintaining a balanced diet.

"Eating out less over the past year, I've inadvertently lost a stone – but my confidence doesn't hinge on a number on the scales," she told the publication.

Emily has also recently opened up about the barrage of online harassment that she has received, in a hope of raising awareness for the 'blind spot' in abuse received online.

In a candid conversation with UNILad, Emily revealed that she had been targetted for her weight in the past by vile online trolls.

During her interview, the actress said that she has "never" been able to get down to the size people "expect" of her, and even if she loses a few pounds she says trolls still brand her "fat".

Emily added: "I feel a pressure to look a certain way every single day. I think about my weight 95 per cent of the day."
