Emily Atack reunites with ex Seann Walsh for lunch at Nandos five years after fling

Emily Atack and Seann Walsh have been spotted enjoying a meal together at a branch of Nandos – five years after they briefly dated.

The comedic pair had a brief romance in 2016 when they went on a string of dates – but have now advanced to being work colleagues as well as past romantic interests.

Fans spotted 31-year-old Emily and 35-year-old Seann at a branch of Nandos in Clapham, South London, with the pair looking in high spirits as they dined together.

Emily roared with laughter as she sat in a window seat with former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Seann.

The pair are reported to have first met in 2014 on Channel 4's Virtual Reality – and their friendship took a romantic turn two years later sparking a brief fling.

However, the romance wasn't uncovered until 2018 and details of date nights at hotels and pubs were made public – before a bedroom photo of the two together leaked online that year.

Seann famously dated Rebecca Humphries from 2013 until 2018 – at which time their romance collapsed after Seann was photographed kissing married Strictly pro-dancer Katya Jones.

The comedian has been dating Grace Adderley since 2019 – while Emily is dating entrepreneur Jude Taylor.

It’s not just a cheeky Nandos that Emily and Seann have been enjoying together – they have also been working together on series two of her comedy show.

The former I’m A Celeb star fronts her own comedy series titled The Emily Atack Show which features stand up and sketches akin to other comedy star fronted shows such as Inside Amy Schumer.

Seann has joined the writing team of the second season – and by all accounts it sounds like they are having a whale of a time working on the series together.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Seann shared a video clip of the inside of a theatre where the show had been filming along with the caption: “So much fun working with @emilyatack. Series 2 is going to be [fire].”

While Emily herself expressed her joy at working with Seann and musician Steve Dunne – who also worked as a writer on her first series.

Sharing a photo of herself and the two boys in a garishly orange lift, Emily gushed: “Before it begins tomorrow.

“Special thanks to these 2 idiots who are quite frankly, f**king brilliant.

“We’ve had so much writing these stand up parts of the sketch show. Can’t wait for you all to see it and slag it off.”

Emily’s show was renewed for a second series in March this year after the star landed, as DigitalSpy reported: “the biggest audience for a female-led stand-up show in 2020.”

Discussing the second series after the renewal announcement, Emily said: "I have so many more sketches and impressions that I can't wait to share with the viewers, my family on the other hand may want to cover their ears (again).

“If they thought the last series was bum clenchingly raucous, wait until they see this series. It's going to be a hoot."

The star won glowing praise from ITV execs following the success of the first series too.

Head of ITV's Digital Channels, Paul Mortimer, called Emily an "exceptional talent".

He gushed: "[Emily's] versatility as a comedy actress and hilariously self-deprecating sense of humour resonated with our viewers".

While the show's Executive Producer, Andy Charles Smith from Monkey, added: "We're beyond thrilled to make another run of The Emily Atack Show.

"Working with Emily is a total joy, and a laugh a minute.

"We can't wait to get back in a room with her and our brilliant writers to see what she'll surprise, delight and shock us with next!"
