Peter Andre's wife Emily makes dig at Katie Price as she says people shouldn't rush marriage

Emily Andre took a bit of a swipe at her husband Peter Andre's ex Katie Price when she said people shouldn't rush marriage.

Katie has been married three times, walking down the aisle within a year of meeting each of her spouses.

She met Peter during their stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, and they tied the knot in 2005.

They share children Junior, 14, and Princess, 12.

They split in 2009 and she met her second husband Alex Reid that same year.

They married in 2010 but divorced in 2012.

Katie dated a few other men after the split, and met her third husband Kieran Hayler later that same year.

They married in 2013 and split in 2018.

They share children Jett, six, and Bunny, five.

Katie, who is also mum to Harvey, 17, from a previous relationship with Dwight Yorke, began dating Kris Boyson a few weeks after her split from Kieran and they got engaged in 2019, but later split.

Emily and Peter met in 2010, but it took two years for their friendship to develop into a romance, and Peter even asked her dad's permission before asking her out on a date.

Peter proposed in 2013 and they tied the knot in 2015. They share kids Amelia, six, and Theodore, three.

And it seems Emily isn't a huge fan of whirlwind relationships.

Writing in her OK! magazine column, she argued for a more traditional courtship as she shared her views on Netflix show Love Is Blind.

She wrote: "I've been obsessed with the new Netflix show Love Is Blind. It centres around people meeting, felling in love and agreeing to marry before they've even seen each other.

"It's hugely entertaining and amazing to watch from a psychological perspective, but it does make a bit of a mockery of marriage.

"Just because these people have made a great connection, there shouldn't be the pressure to marry within a matter of weeks. I think in reality, the initial spark between two people can be based on a lot of things, but it's important to remember that looks will fade so personality is by far the most important factor for me."
