Emily Andre can’t wait to go out with her husband Peter or meet family and friends in a restaurant.
Writing in OK magazine, Emily, 31, reveals that now her stepson Junior, 15, is now out of isolation from coronavirus, things are getting “back to normal” in their household.
She said: “Being out of self-isolation after 10 days stuck indoors has been great! Junior is thankfully feeling fine and back to normal, and all of the kids went back to school and nursery. They were all so excited to go back and see their friends, especially Millie as she loves school so much. "
Her husband Pete, 48, had previously joked that his house had “descended into chaos” while everyone having to stay indoors.
Emily is an NHS junior doctor and has two children with Pete - Amelia, seven, who she calls Millie, and Theodore, four - and she's also stepmum to Junior and Princess, 13, Pete’s children with Katie Price.
She continued: “It’s brilliant news that restrictions are being eased more this week. All my family are now fully vaccinated so I’m looking forward to spending more time with them.
"I also can’t wait to sit inside a restaurant. The one thing we really enjoy is having a nice meal as a family or just myself and Pete, and a date night is definitely long overdue. I also can’t wait to have a massage, especially after isolation!”
Emily praised the efforts of her fellow workers in the NHS who have put in extra hours or learnt new skills quickly, and she said that the vaccine rollout had been “fantastic.”
But she admitted that she couldn’t wait for a holiday with her whole family and was hoping that more countries would be added to the destinations that were willing to take travellers from the UK.
She added: “It was disappointing to see only 12 countries on the green travel list for the UK. Only four of them are currently accepting travellers from the UK so options are limited. Also the need to have multiple PCR tests means that, with a big family, it does add a lot onto the cost of a holiday. That said, I’m feeling hopeful that by the summer these issues will be ironed out and more countries will be added to the list. We’re just trying to stay patient!”
Junior and Princess’ mum Katie Price jetted off to Portugal yesterday with her new fiancé Carl Woods.
