Ghost buster frozen empire movie

The latest installment in the Ghostbusters franchise, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, brings back familiar faces from the original movies and the 2021 reboot, Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Alongside stars like Annie Potts, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson, the film introduces a new cast member, Emily Alyn Lind, who plays the ghost character Melody.

The plot of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire revolves around a new team of Ghostbusters in New York City, led by Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd) and including Egon Spengler's daughter, Callie (Carrie Coon), and her children Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) and Trevor (Finn Wolfhard). The team faces challenges from NYC Mayor Walter Peck (William Atherton) and a mysterious destructive spirit.

One of the key moments in the film is when Phoebe encounters Melody, a ghost who reveals her tragic past to the young Ghostbuster. Played by Emily Alyn Lind, Melody forms a bond with Phoebe but harbors a secret agenda that adds intrigue to the storyline.

Emily Alyn Lind, a seasoned actress with over 40 screen credits, has made a name for herself in both film and television. Her breakout roles include appearances in popular shows like Eastwick, All My Children, Revenge, and Code Black. Lind's most recent television role was in the Max reboot of Gossip Girl, where she played a series regular character.

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Lind joins other new additions to the Ghostbusters family, including Kumail Nanjiani as Nadeem and Patton Oswalt as Hubert Wartzki. The film also features original Ghostbusters stars Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts, as well as Celeste O’Connor and Logan Kim from Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
