The Blue Birds next face the Gunners at the Emirates on Tuesday, 29 January and despite despite the concern from the club, Dalman believes the game will go ahead as planned.

“I would be very surprised if there’s any change to the schedule,” Dalman said.

Dalman also added that the club did not arrange Sala’s flight, but remains resolute in discovering all the facts.

“We will not leave a single stone unturned until we have all the facts,” Dalman, who is currently in France, told BBC Radio Wales

He confirmed Sala "made his own arrangements” to return to Wales after a brief trip back to Nantes to say goodbye to his former team-mates.

"The reaction we've had from the football world - and outside the football world - has been really overwhelming," Dalman added.
