Comfort food doesn’t get much better than pasta and what better way to celebrate than by grabbing some for free?
Emilia’s on St Katherine Docks will be giving away free pasta on World Pasta Day, which falls on October 25 this year.
Guests can choose from the restaurant’s seven signature pasta dishes, including a smoked salmon carbonara and a four hour slow-cooked béchamel bolognese.
The hearty giveaway will take place from 12pm - 4pm and then again from 5pm until 10pm.
It's worth noting that it will be walk-in only and each person will be allocated one pasta dish, per sitting — so yes, going for both lunch and dinner is an option.
All the pasta at Emilia’s is made from scratch every day and the plates on the menu are inspired by founder Andrew Macleod’s travels across Emilia Romagna, in northern Italy.
Drinks, antipasti and desserts are not included in the giveaway but will still be available to buy off the standard menu.
