Emilia Clarke has revealed that she “cheated death” as she opens up on her two brain haemorrhages.
The Game of Thrones star reflected on the toll of the medical emergencies during her appearance on Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast on Thursday (14 May).
She said that after her second haemorrhage, she became convinced that she was “meant to die”. Clarke explained: “Every day, that's all I could think about.”
Clarke said that the first brain aneurysm came whilst she was filming the first season of the HBO show in 2011, and her second was two years later.
“It just cuts you off from being able to engage with the outside world because you're walking around knowing that your body has failed you.”
