The transfer window is coming to an end, with just days left to complete deals in time for the end of the season run-in.
Arsenal have now made their first move, bringing in Spanish defender Pablo Mari from Flamengo on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy at the end of the deal.
It looks likely that Mari will soon be followed by Southampton full-back Cedric Soares, with the Gunners closing in on a deal to take him to the Emirates Stadium.
But the January transfer window is not all about incomings, it also could be a good time for the club to send players out on loan in order to get some much needed game time.
There has been a number of young Arsenal players linked with loan moves away from the Emirates Stadium, including Eddie Nketiah. So far there has been three temporary departure from the club during this window.
